Buying a Franchise?
Buying a franchise without knowing what's in your agreement is like betting your investment on one roll of the dice. A great deal can be learned from having a franchise attorney review the agreement. Does the franchiser charge for lots of things you thought would be included? Does the agreement give the franchiser the right to raise fees significantly during the agreement? If you have a dispute with the franchiser can you file a lawsuit in your local court, or must you pay for an arbitration in some faraway place?
